CLEVELAND, OHIO  —  Hiram College All-North Coast Athletic Conference junior volleyball player Shaina Bryan (South Euclid/Brush) has been named this week’s NCAC Player of the Week.  [NCAC Volleyball Release]

Bryan helped lead the Terriers to a 5-1 record this past week, including a perfect 4-0 record at the NCAC Volleyball Weekend and a 3-0 upset of No. 4 nationally-ranked Wittenberg University.

Individually, Bryan totaled a team-high 77 kills in six matches (3.67 per set), with a .382 attack percentage.  She was also second on the team in digs with 83 (3.95 digs per set).  In addition, Bryan posted 12 blocks defensively and had two service aces.

Hiram will play its next four matches on the road beginning with a non-conference match against Case on Wednesday, Sept. 29 in University Circle.  The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
