Freshman Austin Jenkins (North Royalton) fired a 80–81-161 to lead the Hiram College men’s golf team in the first two rounds of the NCAC Golf Championships.

The Terriers currently sit in ninth place of nine teams with a 36-hole score of 324-331-655. Wittenberg holds the team lead after two rounds with a total score of 588 strokes.

Jenkins score currently has him in 32nd place.

Freshman Kyle Carile (North Royalton) shot a 80 in the first round and followed it up with an 83 for a two round score of 163, which is tied for 33rd.

Senior Kyle Meggas (Lakewood) fired a pair of 82’s for a 36-hole score of 164, which is tied for 35th.

Wittenberg’s John Chaney holds a two stroke lead after shooting an even par, 144 for the two rounds.

The Terriers will close out the championships with two more rounds on May 2 and 3, at Springfield Country Club.
