Jeffery Wanser, coordinator for government documents and collection at the library and adjunct faculty both in Weekend College and MAIS programs, will be speaking at the Mantua Historical Society & Museum on Sunday, May 15, at 7 p.m. Wanser will talk about cemeteries throughout the region where he continues to explore gravestone style, search for early stone carvers and find trends in cemeteries that affect the way we look at our communities and our own history.

“To Dwell with Common Clay: Cemeteries, Gravestones & Carvers in the U.S. and Ohio’s Western Reserve,” is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided, and the museum will be open for tours. The Society is located in the Mantua Township Hall, on the historic green at the corner of Route 82 and Mantua Center Road.
