Hiram Farm, a non-profit organic farm located less than half of a mile south of campus, provides meaningful work for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Hiram College has enjoyed a close relationship with the farm throughout the years and is proud to partner with the organization for its fifth annual spring gala, A Night of Wishes.
The gala will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the home of Hiram College President Thomas Chema. Tickets are $55 per person, and should be reserved by April 9, 2014.
Tickets may be purchased by calling 330-569-3441, through the PayPal button on www.hiramfarm.org or by mailing a check with names of attendees to:
P.O. Box 157
Hiram, OH 44234
The fundraiser will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, silent auction and wine auction. Proceeds will directly benefit Hiram Farm.
Throughout the years, many Hiram College students have built connections with and volunteered at Hiram Farm, both on Campus Day and beyond. Please contact Jason Bricker-Thompson, Chaplain and Director of Civic Engagement at firstname.lastname@example.org or 330-569-5234, for information about volunteer opportunities at Hiram Farm or information about the spring fundraiser.
April is officially recognized as Autism Awareness Month.
