Twelve students from Warren Harding High School recently visited Hiram College as part of a college preview program operated by the Warren-based Inspiring Minds organization. The organization seeks to engage, empower and inspire students to reach their full potential through a variety of outreach activities.
During their visit to Hiram, students took a campus tour and met with academic counselors and faculty members. Participants also had an opportunity to interact with current Hiram students as well as listen to Hiram alumni talk about the value of investing in a college education.
“Inspiring Minds has a noble purpose and their work impacts all of Northeast Ohio by encouraging young people to continue on in their pursuit of higher education,” said Hiram College President Tom Chema. “We were honored to be selected for a campus visit and hope that those students will consider Hiram as they begin their own college search process.”
Joining the students for the Hiram visit was Deryck Toles, founder and executive Director of Inspiring Minds.
