Hiram College will honor United States veterans with an event at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, “Life After Service.” The panel discussion is presented in conjunction with Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and will take place in the Alumni Heritage Room in Teachout-Price.
Panelists include Dr. Jon Kerstetter, Col MC FS, of the Iowa Army National Guard (retired), and Dr. Jason Gatliff, Integrated Ethics Program Officer, of the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. The discussion will center on what Americans owe to their fellow citizens who have returned from military service and been injured or suffer from PSTD.
The event is free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Center for Engaged Ethics and Center for Literature and Medicine.
