The Hiram College football team will begin a new era in 2010 led by first-year Head Coach Randy Moore.

Hiram will return 15 starters from a year ago including senior All-NCAC wide receiver Glenn Campbell (Akron/Buchtel) on offense and two-time All-NCAC junior linebacker Jon Hull (Buford, Ga./Mill Creek) on defense.  Campbell accounted for 900 of the team’s 2,298 yards of total offense in 2009 seeing playing time as a wide receiver, quarterback and on special teams.  He led the team in receiving touchdowns (four) and was second in yards (480).  In addition, he was the team’s top kick returner with 290 yards in a team-tying best 17 attempts (17.1 yards per return).

Hull led the Terriers in tackles for the second straight season with 77 stops (21 solo and 56 assists).  He also tallied 2.5 tackles for a loss of seven yards.  In addition, Hull had one interception, a fumble recovery and a team-tying high three pass breakups.
