Every Wednesday during the 12-Week, the Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship hosts Fireside Chats with local entrepreneurs.
At 7 p.m. at East Hall Forum, entrepreneurs will discuss their journeys – how they started their business, what they did right, what they did wrong and where they are going next.
Oct. 8: From Mom and Pop to Millionaires! with Rita Scott, President, Young Explorers Montessori
Twelve years ago, Rita Young was walking around with a cashed-out 401(k) and an eight-page business plan, trying to get a loan. She will tell her “crazy but true” story of getting a loan, opening a set of Northeast Ohio child care centers, expanding and weathering the recession – and eventually becoming husband and wife self-made millionaires.
