Every Wednesday during the 12-week, the Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship hosts Fireside Chats with local entrepreneurs.
At 7 p.m. at East Hall Forum, entrepreneurs will discuss their journeys – how they started their business, what they did right, what they did wrong and where they are going next.
Wednesday, September 19, 2012 – For-Profit Meets Not-For-Profit! with Jennifer Fredricks ’95, President, Cancer Angel Network and Phire Branded Apparel and Graphics
After participating in the 2004 Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure, Jenn launched her not-for-profit Cancer Angel Network in 2006 to assist other participants in reaching their fundraising goals. Phire Branded Apparel and Graphics offers stock designs in very small quantities at wholesale prices to participants in cancer fundraisers selling t-shirts to raise money for their cause.
