Christopher Faiver ’69, will be honored on May 9, 2008, when a special award is presented by North Central Ohio Counseling Association (NCOCA) in his name – the “Faiver Award for Outstanding Contributions to the North Central Ohio Counseling Association”. He will also be the first recipient of the award.
Please come on May 9 from 5:30 to 9 p.m .to honor Chris Faiver (click here to view the invitation). The guest speaker is Dr. Mark Savickas of NEOUCM and Kent State University, presenting “Career as Story: Work and Meaning in Today’s World”. Counselors can earn one CEU for attending.

A professor of education and allied studies at John Carroll University, Faiver earned his M.A. and Ph.D., from Case Western Reserve University after graduating Hiram.
The North Central Ohio Counseling Association, was formed in 1993 as a chapter of the Ohio Counseling Association. It serves professional counselors in the Greater Akron, Canton, Cleveland, and Kent areas. NCOCA prides itself on its history of advocacy on behalf of the counseling profession at both the personal and organizational level.
