The Office of Campus Safety will hold a series of events Sept. 24-27, 2012, for Campus Safety Week.

Monday, Sept. 24

Staying Safe on Campus 101, Brown Fall Room at 7 p.m.
An introduction to start off Campus Safety week with trivia, candy, handouts and a brief program from campus Safety Officers Fred Painter and Beth Drotar on ways to stay safe and keep your personal belongings safe.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

MyLifePlan, Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
My Life Plan, Inc. will be in the Dining Hall to register students, faculty and staff for free.

Impaired Driving Activities, Dining Hall starting at 11:30 a.m.
Ohio State Trooper Ken Worner will be on site discussing impaired driving, providing demonstrations and speaking about statistics regarding impaired driving.

“The Big Red Suit,” Brown-Fall Room at 7 p.m.
The Hiram Village Police will be presenting on self-defense tactics and safety techniques that individuals can use in difficult situations.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

MyLifePlan, Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
My Life Plan, Inc. will be in the Dining Hall to register students, faculty and staff for free.

Distracted Driving Presentation, Dining Hall starting at noon
Ohio State Trooper Dan Laubacher will be presenting on distracted driving, the types of distracted driving, and the results of distracted driving. Join the presentation while you eat.

Thursday, Sept. 27

MyLifePlan, Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
My Life Plan, Inc. will be in the Dining Hall to register  students, faculty, and staff for free.

Safe Cooking, Dining Hall from 11:40 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Learn how to cook basic foods in a safe secure environment with AVI.

Property Engraving, Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
There will be property engraving available to students, faculty and staff
