Anne Haynam ’88 will be teaching a cooking class at the Hiram Inn on February 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Haynam will teach participants how to make Indian cuisine. Exotic spices will be explored while learning how to make pakoras, goa chicken curry, Thai coconut shrimp curry, pulao (Indian fried rice), tomato chutney, cilantro chutney and raita (Indian cucumber relish). The interactive session will include light instruction and hands on cooking. Participants will get to eat a meal’s worth of samples. Each participant will receive one free beverage or those over 21 years old, a glass of wine. The cooking class is $50 per person or one cooking class and accommodations is $135.
