Current Responsibilities
My current responsibilities as director of operations and animal programs at the field station include overseeing all relevant activities, animal care, educational programs and maintenance on a daily basis. I design, implement, and direct conservation initiatives and promote responsible stewardship of natural areas through public outreach and student engagement. I have helped establish and continue to maintain cooperative partnerships and rapport with governmental, non-governmental, and private entities. I am also responsible for hiring, training, and supervising professional staff, student workers, and volunteers.
