Audio Visual Services
Located in the Lower Level of the Hiram College Library, the multimedia center has a range of multimedia resources for the entire college community.
We also provide a number of services, such as
- video and audio tape duplication
- off-air taping
- lamination
- production of various presentation aids
- instruction and technical support for use of multi-media equipment
- check out of camcorders, slide projectors, and tape recorders. These can be checked out for a 24 hour period
- Consultation concerning special needs for classes or events
- Services for these special requests may be provided for by the Media Center if we have the staff and equipment to fit your needs. If not, we will recommend a way to accomplish your goals. You can reach the Media Center at (330) 569-5360.
Service Charges:
- Audio Taping $8.00 per hour
- Video Taping $8.00 per hour
- Off Air Taping $10.00 per program
- High-speed Dubbing of Audio Cassettes $0.50 per cassette
- Real Time Dubbing of Audio Cassettes $2.00 per hour
- Duplicate Videocassettes $5.00 per cassette
- Thermal Transparencies $0.60 per sheet
- Color Copies $0.25 per page

NOTE: In compliance with the United States Copyright Laws, if a program is taped off-air it must be used ONLY ONCE within 10 days after the broadcast. It also must be erased by the Media Center 45 days after the original broadcast.
