Chris Kibler

Head Men's Basketball Coach

Chris enters his 4th year as the head men’s basketball coach and 7th year at Hiram College. In his 2nd season as head coach he led the Terriers to a 19-9 record and regional ranking of 6th in the Great Lakes region, as well as Nationally ranked just outside the top 25. The 19-8 record was the best since 1973-74. The 3rd place finish in the NCAC was the team’s best finish ever. Chris was named the NCAC Basketball Coach of the Year in 2016. The team has won the athletics department Philanthropy Award both years it was awarded at the Annual “Terri Awards” hosted by the SAAC. Chris enters his 23rd season as a college basketball coach and has been a part of 10 Championships and won more than 63% of the games he’s coached in.

Kibler has studied and has an avid interest in LEADSHIP styles and approaches. He owns over 500 books on leadership, basketball, and coaching.
