- Environmental Citizenship, which provides an academic forum to address environmental policy issues and promotes interdisciplinary approaches to understanding environmental and land use concerns.
- Nature Education Program, including teacher workshops, school visitations and community programs.
- Creative Field Studies, using interdisciplinary tools to evaluate and give creative expression to regional nature, natural resources, and environmental issues.
- Bio-monitoring, which includes historical and ecological restoration initiatives in collaboration with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Learning Network.
- Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation, including trumpeter swan breeding and reintroduction and research with Madagascar teal and white-winged wood duck.
