Campus Sex Crimes
Prevention Act Information


The Federal Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act requires institutions of higher education to issue a statement advising the campus community where the law enforcement agency information provided by a State concerning registered sexual offenders may be obtained. The registered sex offenders' list can be obtained from the Ohio Electronic Sex Offender Registration and Notification web site at http://www.esorn.ag.state.oh.us/Secured/p1.aspx

Convicted and already registered sex offenders must notify their state if they are enrolled as a student or employed at a college or university there. Sex offenders must also notify the Portage County Sheriff’s office at 330-297-3889 and the Office of Campus Safety (330) 569-6107.
