New Student Orientation

The Hiram College Orientation Program is designed to accomplish the following goals:

  • To aid new students in their academic and social transition to Hiram College
  • To foster an understanding of the academic/institutional opportunities, expectations, and values of Hiram College
  • To assist new students in making friendships with their future classmates
  • To create an enhanced sense of connection as a new member of the Hiram Collge "family" (students, faculty, staff, and alumni)
  • To create an awareness of the diverse extracurricular opportunities, resources, and people here at Hiram College
  • To enhance parent's awareness of the issues facing college students as well as an understanding of the Hiram College environmnet and services

Although your time at the Hiram College Orientation Program is brief, you will come away with a better understanding of the many aspects of life at Hiram College and a renewed sense of excitement to return in August!

Directions - Please Note

SR 82 over Eagle Creek (between Freedom St. and Center St./Water St.) in Garrettsville is closed until for bridge construction. The detour will be SR 88 to SR 303.
