Majors

The curriculum of the Weekend College includes eight majors that may be completed in our weekend format:

• Accounting and Financial Management
  
• Business Management
• Communication
• Environmental Studies
• Social Sciences
• Humanities and Fine Arts
• Healthcare Services Management
• Religious Studies

Choosing a major or minor, thinking about a career, getting an education – these are the things college is all about. Yes, there are some students who know their career ambitions and decide on a major before beginning their educational journey. However, many students do not, thus there is no need to rush into a decision during your first class.  Changing your major at least once in your college careers is not unusual so take some time with your decision and use the resources at Hiram College.

There are wonderful resources on campus to give you guidance:  your academic advisor, faculty teaching your courses, the Career Center and the Weekend College staff are all available and willing to help you make this decision.
