Weekend College Career Resources

The Career Center offers many resources to help adults in career transition.  Our office is open on Weekend College Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and at other times by appointment. Check the Workshop listing in your Schedule of Classes for our career exploration and job search workshops.

In addition to the resources online for students to explore liberal arts majors, apply to graduate school, or plan a job search, we have selected these sites specifically for adults planning a career transition:

Ask the Headhunter

As you plan your job search, use the Northeast Ohio Employment Resources, but remember to use traditional job search techniques like networking with friends, Hiram alums and business associates, research on local employers and information interviews to add to your options. Many positions are still filled through personal contacts, not online.
