Graduate/Professional School

Thinking About Grad School?

It's never too early to begin planning!
Use the resources at the left to choose programs, identify the required tests and locate test preparation materials. A GRE Prep class is held on campus every fall. Watch for publicity on the date. Over the summer, use the materials on the GRE, LSAT or GMAT website, buy books at any bookstore or enroll in a test prep class offered by companies such as Princeton Review or Kaplan. Whatever you do, talk to your adviser or to the staff in the Career Center first to get started.

Important Notice: Launching the Revised GRE has been cancelled. ETS will continue to add and test new questions but the Internet version of the test and the revised test will NOT be launched.  See the GRE website for more information. If you are planning to apply to graduate school in 2007-2008, you will take the current Computer-Adapted GRE General test at a ProMetrix test center at a time of your choosing. The Subject tests which are only required for certain PhD programs are still given on paper on specific days. See the website again for details or pick up a registration booklet outside the Career Center.
