Online graduate school references
- Peterson's Guide is a good starting database, searchable by program or location. Follow up by using the actual books in the Career Center.

- The Graduate Management Admission Council lists more than 500 business schools.
- All medical schools are listed on the American Association of Medical Colleges page.
Many specialized lists of graduate programs exist as well. Check the Career Center Library for directories on graduate school in psychology and social work, genetics, public administration, and others. Your adviser may also have a list of programs related to your major. Online, try a search engine for your area of interest or search for the main professional organization in your proposed field. Professional organizations often list graduate schools under headings such as Education or Careers. A few examples include:
