Once you have an idea of the type of employer that interests you, you can use that information to find others. 

Professional associations are a great place to start.

Examples include:

Ohio Society of CPAs

Public Relations Society of America

Ohio Historic Sites

American Public Gardens

American Zoological Association

Some of these associations post jobs; others have member lists where you can connect to look for jobs.

If you have a geographical location in mind, use that idea to search.  For example, find

all the nature centers in Michigan

Foreign Policy Think Tanks

marketing jobs in Florida
