2017 Commencement Registration

Ticket Payment Information

Click here to register for 2017 Commencement Ceremony and Brunch tickets, Special accommodation parking and the Professional & Graduate Studies Dinner. Advanced registration by April 28, 2017 is required.

If you have already registered and have a balance due for purchased Commencement brunch tickets or for purchased guest Professional & Graduate Studies dinner tickets, you can pay by using any of the options listed below. Please note that payment must be received by the registration deadline of April 28, 2017 for these tickets to be included in your ticket packets.

Faculty and Staff Tickets

(Please note:  The Commencement Ceremony and the Commencement Day Brunch are ticketed events.)

If you are not marching and would like to attend the Commencement ceremony, you will need to register for a ticket. Those who are participating in the procession do not need tickets to the Commencement Ceremony in Martin Field House.

All faculty and staff who wish to attend the Commencement Day Brunch must have tickets for the Dining Hall.

You can receive one ticket to the Commencement ceremony and one complimentary ticket to the brunch however, you MUST register on-line to receive these tickets. The registration deadline is April 28. 

Ticket Pick up Information

ALL tickets packets for traditional students, faculty and staff will be available for pick up at the Welcome Desk on the first floor of the Kennedy Center starting Monday, May 8 until Friday, May 12. If you are unavailable to pick up your tickets during those times, please contact the Special Events office for arrangements at 330.569.5900.

Tickets for Professional & Graduate Studies Students will be available for pick on Friday, May 5 at the Office of Professional & Graduate Studies on the second floor of Hinsdale Hall. They will also be available at the Professional & Graduate Studies Rehearsal on May 6.

Advanced registration and tickets are needed for the following:

  • Commencement Ceremony in Martin Field House on Saturday, May 13, 2017
  • Commencement Day Brunch in the Dining Hall on Saturday, May 13, 2017
  • Special accommodations for parking on Commencement Day, Saturday, May 13, 2017
  • Professional & Graduate Studies Dinner in the Kennedy Center on Saturday, May 6, 2017
  • Tickets are also required for various traditional senior week activities but those are handled directly through the Office of Campus Involvement.

Commencement Ceremony ticket information:

Each graduate can register for up to five (5) tickets allowing them to invite five guests to attend the ceremony in Martin Field House. The graduating student does NOT need a Commencement ticket. Registration also includes a ‘wish list’ number if more than five tickets are desired. Once registration closes on April 29, any extra tickets will be distributed evenly based upon the wish list requests until all extra tickets are gone. The graduate will be notified by May 6 of any additional tickets they are getting and those will be added to their ticket packets.

All graduates must register for the Commencement tickets by April 28, 2017.  Unfortunately, Commencement tickets will NOT be available on Commencement Day since all tickets will be allocated and distributed based upon the advanced registration process. It is important that students only ask for tickets that they plan to use so that all who wish to attend are able to and there are no unused seats.

A live video simulcast will be shown in Price Gym which is near Martin Field House. This provides a seating option for guests who do not have Commencement tickets for the ceremony in Martin Field House. Tickets are not required for the simulcast in Price Gym.

Commencement Day Brunch ticket information:

Each graduate can register for up to three (3) complimentary brunch tickets with the option of purchasing additional tickets in advance. There will also be some tickets available for purchase at the door on Commencement day. The cost of brunch tickets is $15 for adults, $10 for children 6 – 11 years old and free for children under six years. The graduating student DOESneed to have a brunch ticket to attend.

Advanced registration by the April 28, 2017 deadline is required for the student to receive their complimentary brunch tickets.

Special accommodations for parking information:

Special parking passes can be requested using the same on-line registration process as is used for the Commencement tickets or by contacting the Special Events office at 330.569.5900. Due to limited space available, we ask that you register for special parking needs even if you already have a government licensed handicap tag to allow for proper planning.

Professional & Graduate Studies Dinner ticket information:

The Professional & Graduate Studies Dinner tickets are also available using the on-line registration process with each graduating Weekend College and Community College student receiving one complimentary ticket with advanced registration by the deadline of April 28, 2017. Guest tickets can also be purchased in advance for $30 per guest. More information can be obtained by calling the Professional & Graduate Studies office at 330.569.5161.
