Gilbert Doho, PhD, will speak on using drama to convey information about HIV/AIDS. Dr. Doho is an associate professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literature at Case Western Reserve University. He earned his Ph.D at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris III and his areas of specialization are twentieth centruy French drama, Francophone studies, African performing arts and cinema. In addition to his work for the academy, he is a theater critic and playwright. Professor Doho will discuss the use of theater as a vehicle for disseminating information about AIDS and empowering minorities in the U.S. and Africa.
