MEADVILLE, PA. -- The fourth-seeded Hiram College softball team was defeated by No. 3 seed Denison University, 13-2, today (Sunday, May 4) in the championship round of the 2008 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Allegheny College at Robertson Field in Meadville, Pa.

Hiram College Softball Loses to Denison University; Terriers Rally to Defeat Allegheny (Pa.) College to Advance to NCAC Tounament Championship Round
MEADVILLE, PA. -- The fourth-seeded Hiram College softball team lost to No. 3 seed Denison University, 6-5,in the first game of the day, but rallied to defeat top-seeded Allegheny (Pa.) College, 8-5, for the second time in as many days to advance to the championship round of the 2008 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament today (Saturday, May 3) hosted by Allegheny at Robertson Fieldin Meadville, Pa.
