Tom Mulligan begins his third year as head coach of the men’s and women’s track and field teams. Mulligan also serves as the Director of Athletics.
Mulligan is a veteran of Division III track & field. Before coming to Hiram in 2002, Mulligan spent 13 years at Oberlin College as head track and field coach. Prior to beginning his coaching stint at Oberlin in 1984 he served as head track and field coach at Kenyon College (1978-1980), Ohio Northern University (1975-1976) and Heidelberg College (1973-1975).
Mulligan holds a B.A. in Health and Physical Education from Ohio Wesleyan University and a M.Ed. in Health and Physical Education from Bowling Green State University.
Mulligan and his wife, Diane, reside in Aurora. They have three grown children.
