Constance Brannon, Assistant Director of Admission
I’ve played the piano in the Sydney Opera House!
I love “artsy” stuff— photography, singing and playing the piano, experimenting in the kitchen and travel.
Who do you look up to the most, and why?
I am blessed to have a wonderful support network of family and friends who encourage me to be the best version of myself. I know that, even as an adult, I have so much to learn and I look to them as authentic examples for who I want to be someday.
Since this question tends to beg a “celebrity answer” I’ll throw Kristin Chenoweth (Broadway’s original Galinda from “Wicked”) and Jillian Michaels out there — both are women who view failure as valuable life experience and never gave up working hard toward their life goals, big or small.
What is your favorite thing about Hiram?
Hiram is a place where ambitious students can really thrive. If you aren’t afraid to think outside the box and work creatively toward your goals—and ask questions!-- you’ll find a very supportive group of faculty and staff members who want to help you meet those goals.
Hiram is also one of the friendliest places I’ve ever worked—I’m especially fond of our Admission staff!
And on a clear night you can see a perfectly starry sky over the big, open field off Bancroft Street.
