Curriculum and Certificates
The Global Institute for Management and Leadership at Hiram College will hold two sessions for overseas students during Summer 2013.

Session 1: May 31-July 2, 2013
Session 2: June 24-July 29, 2013
Classroom instruction by Hiram faculty will be enhanced by industry visits across Northeast Ohio, to Akron Water Supply, Arcelor Mittal, GM Parma, and others.
We will host a college fair and an Immigration Attorney on U.S. Immigration Policy, and there will be global planning and career placement opportunities.
Entertainment and tourism includes Niagara Falls, shopping days in Cleveland and more.
Information Technology and Operation Management Training Program
This curriculum is designed for students pursuing engineering related interests. The program will introduce students to the information, communication technologies and operations management skills necessary for success in today’s industries. In addition to supply chain management, logistics and entrepreneurship modules will prepare students with the skills not only to be successful, but to stand out from the crowd.
Students participating in this program will gain a cultural competency that can be translated into real world value to employers. The ability to cross cultural and domestic boundaries and learn how to work together are skills that cannot be overlooked in today’s society.
Management of Multinational Training Program
This curriculum will prepare students to succeed in a global economy. Students graduating with degrees in business at the graduate and undergraduate level are often aware on an academic level that these complex multinational organizations and supply chains exist, but have had little opportunity to see that process in action, much less the opportunity to work with international and domestics students to understand the impact of industry on both ends.
The Management of Multinational Companies non-credit certificate program will give students hands-on experience doing just that, as students will engage in a forum and a community of scholars, entrepreneurs and businessmen to learn supply chain management, finance, international business skills and entrepreneurship skills.
