Reading Endorsement Courses

The Reading Endorsement program curriculum consists of six, three-semester hour courses offered in eight-week sessions in a blended format (a combination of on-campus and online coursework).

Course meeting times are Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost per credit hour is $470

Note: Classes may be cancelled should enrollment not reach critical capacity

Required Field Hours

Advanced Content Area Reading Strategies 20 hours: high school content area
Advanced Literature Strategies 15 hours in two bands: grades K-4 and 5-8
Reading Assessment and Intervention 15 hours grades K-4: 15 hours 2-4
Reading Assessment and Intervention Practicum 50 hours in three bands: grades PreK-K; 1-3; 4-6
