March 26-29, 2015

Providing historical context for the era that defined Lincoln’s presidency, students visited the David Wills House, Gettysburg battlefield and Gettysburg National Cemetery where the 16th president gave his famous address. In addition to visiting a number of historic sites in Washington, D.C., students met with the director for African Affairs on the National Security Council staff in Washington, D.C., giving them a unique opportunity to connect the history they learned to present-day politics.
